Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with relevant reporting standards
- Create accounting schedules to support balances and transactions
- Review work completed by junior staff and provide constructive feedback
- Handle complex areas of accounts and ensure technical accuracy
- Summarise key client issues before passing to senior management
- Maintain proper accounting standards and meet deadlines
Ideal Candidate:
- Fully ACCA or ACA qualified
- Experience in an accounting practice is essential
- Strong knowledge of year-end financial statements, management accounts, and VAT returns
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with cloud-based systems such as Xero
