Rowland Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a respected accountancy practice in Ashford to recruit an Administrator who will play a key role within their established Admin Team.
Working closely with the Office Manager and wider admin colleagues, you will support the smooth running of the practice, ensuring clients receive an exceptional service and the office functions efficiently day‑to‑day.
This is a collaborative position suited to someone who enjoys teamwork, takes pride in delivering high quality administrative support, and thrives in a professional practice environment.
Key Requirements:
As a core part of the admin team, you will:
- Handle incoming calls professionally, including answering, directing, message taking and follow up actions.
- Provide a warm, polished welcome to all clients and visitors.
- Notify security, prepare refreshments and reset meeting rooms after use.
- Work alongside your admin colleagues to process all incoming and outgoing post.
- Share responsibility for managing three central mailboxes, ensuring timely, accurate communication.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and maintaining documentation.
- Update and maintain the practice’s CRM system.
- Produce basic internal reports for management meetings and audits.
- Help maintain accurate client records and manage transfers of information.
- Support the professional clearance process.
- Follow the No Longer Acting (NLA) process in line with team procedures.
- Manage stationery, office groceries and routine housekeeping tasks.
- Liaise with the landlord and cleaning providers as required.
- Assist in coordinating staff meetings, internal events and workshops.
- Support ad‑hoc projects assigned by the Senior Management Team.
Ideal Candidate:
- 2–3 years’ experience within an accountancy or tax practice or similar.
- Knowledge of CoSec processes is desirable.
- Professional, articulate and confident in both written and verbal communication.
- Highly detail oriented, organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive with strong problem solving abilities.
- Calm under pressure and able to work independently when required.
- Competent in Word and Excel (PowerPoint advantageous).
