Rowland Recruitment is supporting a firm of accountants in the search for an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward thinking environment. Working closely with Partners and senior leadership, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients, lead audits, review accounts and play an active role in mentoring junior members of the team.
The role offers a blend of audit and accounts work, providing plenty of variety, client interaction and long term career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients across a range of sectors
• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Attending and leading client meetings
• Supervising, coaching and developing junior team members
• Assisting Partners and senior management with client service delivery
• Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
Ideal Candidate:
To be considered, you will ideally have:
• ACA or ACCA qualification
• At least four years' experience within practice
• Strong audit and accounts experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
• Strong Excel skills
• A proactive and client-focused approach
