Rowland Recruitment is working with an established firm of accountants who are looking to appoint an Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager to their team. This role offers responsibility for managing client portfolios, leading audits, and supporting the development of junior team members, while working closely with senior leadership.
Key Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified or finalist, with strong practice experience in accounts and audit.
- Proven ability to plan, lead, and complete audits, including managing fieldwork and reviewing work of junior staff.
- Solid technical knowledge in financial reporting, audit standards, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting and audit software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks).
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to build client relationships and mentor team members.
- Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability to deliver practical, value-added solutions.
