As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will manage a portfolio of clients, delivering comprehensive audit & accounts services while upholding the firm’s commitment to exceptional client care. Your work will be integral to the organisation’s proactive and future-focused approach, ensuring consistent value and trusted advisory services to each client. The client is seeking an experienced professional with strong organisational and interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and commitment to high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a varied client portfolio, providing a first-rate service that exceeds client expectations.
- Ensure all client files and audits are accurately completed and meet established deadlines and compliance standards.
- Consistently deliver work to the highest professional standards, ensuring full compliance with legal and statutory obligations.
- Manage client requests and inquiries professionally, fostering strong client relationships and loyalty.
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence
- Prepare tax returns in line with standard procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all regulations.
- Complete all deliverables within deadlines and budget, contributing to efficient team performance.
- Act as a line manager to junior team members, fostering their development and adherence to best practices.
- Maintain all legal, statutory, and ethical standards within the team.
- Uphold the firm’s values in every client interaction, promoting innovation and a forward-thinking approach.
- Utilising your expertise in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to streamline processes and enhance client experiences
The Ideal Candidate:
- Broad audit & accounting experience with a strong understanding of UK audit and accounting regulations.
- ACCA or ACA qualified.
- Proven experience managing a diverse client portfolio.
- Strong commercial awareness with an ability to meet client needs effectively.
- Confident, professional, and committed to personal and team growth.
- Excellent organisational skills and computer proficiency.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines efficiently.
