Rowland Recruitment is looking for an experienced Client Manager to join our client, a respected Accountancy firm based near Cranbrook, Kent, on a permanent basis. In this role, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering a variety of accounting services. You’ll be part of a reputable local firm, collaborating with a skilled team and providing direct support to the Directors. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to join a friendly and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of predominantly Limited Company clients, assisting with statutory reporting and business and tax planning
- Review financial statements, mainly prepared under FRS 102, with occasional work under IFRS
- Review corporation tax returns
- Review VAT returns
- Support outsourced FD clients with management reporting and ad hoc queries, overseeing the compliance and reporting processes
- Assist in training junior team members, including AAT and ACA trainees
Ideal Candidate:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience managing a portfolio of corporate clients
- Proficient in all aspects of accounts and corporate tax compliance, with a solid understanding of current accounting and tax standards
- Capable of prioritizing tasks, working independently, and meeting deadlines
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Sage, and Xero
- Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
