Rowland Recruitment is supporting a highly respected professional services firm in the search for a Corporate Finance Executive to join its growing Corporate Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to transition into, or further develop within, corporate finance. The role offers exposure to a broad range of transaction support and advisory assignments, providing the opportunity to work on acquisitions, disposals, financial due diligence projects and strategic business transactions.
Working closely with senior members of the team, you will gain hands on experience across the full transaction lifecycle while building strong relationships with clients, funders and professional intermediaries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the delivery of financial due diligence assignments
• Preparing and analysing financial information to support transaction activity
• Reviewing information provided by clients and identifying key findings, trends and commercial considerations
• Producing detailed financial analysis and supporting documentation
• Preparing information requests and tracking responses throughout the transaction process
• Assisting with the preparation of financial due diligence reports for clients
• Supporting business sale and acquisition projects
• Assisting with the preparation of information memorandums and business plans
• Developing financial models and cash flow forecasts
• Undertaking market and sector research
• Identifying and researching potential acquisition targets and buyers
• Assisting with presentations and proposals for prospective clients
• Liaising with clients, funders, legal advisers and other professional contacts throughout transactions
• Building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across tax, audit and advisory teams
• Delivering a high standard of client service throughout each engagement
• Supporting business development and networking activities where appropriate
Ideal Candidate:
To be considered, you will ideally have:
• ACA or ACCA qualification
• Previous experience gained within audit, accounts or corporate finance
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Commercial awareness and an interest in business transactions
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• A proactive and solutions focused approach
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
