Rowland Recruitment is supporting an established, large accountancy practice in the search for a Corporate Tax Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to join a successful team and take on a varied role covering both advisory and compliance work. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide strategic tax advice to a range of businesses, whilst helping to develop client relationships and supporting the growth of the tax function.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients
• Delivering a range of corporate tax advisory assignments
• Reviewing and overseeing corporate tax compliance work
• Advising on restructuring projects, transactions and tax planning matters
• Supporting clients with HMRC enquiries and technical matters
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional services to clients
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business
• Supporting business development activities and networking initiatives
• Ensuring assignments are delivered accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales
Ideal Candidate:
To be considered, you will ideally have:
• ACA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification
• Strong corporate tax experience gained within accountancy practice
• Experience managing advisory and compliance assignments
• Excellent technical knowledge of UK corporate taxation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
• Experience managing client relationships
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive and solutions-driven mindset
• Supporting and developing junior team members
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring
• Assisting with training and development initiatives
• Encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing across the team
• Supporting the continued growth of the department
