This role is ideal for an organised and detail focused individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and delivering exceptional service to clients. You will manage a varied portfolio, ensure accurate payroll processing, and play a key role in supporting the payroll team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organise workload to deliver timely and accurate payroll services
- Process payroll for a range of clients with varying requirements
- Administer pensions across different schemes
- Review payrolls prepared by team members and ensure compliance
- Communicate effectively with clients and HMRC
- Handle payroll queries and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation
- Support the team with ad-hoc payroll tasks
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy practice or bureau
- Experience using Sage 50 Payroll
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Relevant payroll qualification or qualified by experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain confidentiality
