The firm is now looking to appoint a Practice Operations & Compliance Manager. This role will report directly to the Managing Partner/MLRO and is positioned as a strong deputy level hire. Key Responsibilities:
• Managing the client onboarding process, including AML checks, documentation and associated administration
• Overseeing ongoing AML monitoring across the client base
• Completing annual AML reporting requirements in line with ICAEW regulations
• Supporting ICAEW compliance reporting and reviews, including those relating to client money
• Assisting with wider ICAEW compliance matters and ad hoc regulatory requirements
• Managing trust compliance requirements, including CRS reporting and investment registrations
• Maintaining and improving internal processes, systems and documentation
• Supporting and overseeing the administrative team, with hands on involvement where required
• Supporting ad hoc projects across systems, operations and office management
Additional Areas of Involvement (Desirable)
• Managing GDPR processes, including system oversight, monitoring and reporting
• Supporting the firm’s use of technology and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, including AI
• Contributing to marketing initiatives and website management
Ideal Candidate:
• Previous experience within an accountancy or professional services environment
• Strong exposure to AML, client onboarding and compliance processes
• Good understanding of ICAEW regulations and wider regulatory frameworks
• Confident in managing processes and identifying improvements
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Comfortable using systems and engaging with technology
What’s On Offer:
• Salary in the region of £50,000 to £60,000+, depending on experience
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Parking
• Private medical insurance
• Income protection
• Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
This is a genuinely varied role offering a blend of compliance, operations and project work within a high quality professional environment. It would suit an individual looking to take a step forward into a broader position, while working closely with senior leadership and continuing to develop their experience over time.
