Rowland Recruitment is partnering with a long established, forward thinking firm in Swanley that continues to grow year after year. Due to ongoing expansion, they are now looking for a motivated Semi Senior Accounts & Audit Assistant to join their friendly, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Producing year end accounts for a mix of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts across a range of accounting platforms, including Xero and Sage
- Drafting corporation tax calculations and CT600 submissions
- Supporting the delivery of audit assignments, with training available where required
- Acting as a day‑to‑day point of contact for clients, handling queries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy and ensuring all work is completed within agreed timescales
Ideal Candidate:
- AAT qualified or progressing towards ACCA/ACA, with around three years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- Confident in producing both statutory and management accounts
- Knowledge of corporation tax requirements
- Some audit experience would be beneficial, though not essential
- Comfortable using cloud‑based and traditional software such as Xero, Sage, IRIS, Digita or MyWorkPapers
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a proactive, can‑do approach
- A clear communicator who works well independently and within a close, supportive team
