Rowland Recruitment is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our client, a well-regarded Accountancy firm located near Cranbrook, Kent, on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role and can offer great growth potential for the right individual. In this role, you will manage a diverse client portfolio, delivering a broad range of services focusing on international and UK HNWIs, as well as supporting the dedicated corporate and OMB team. Their service offering goes beyond the typical year-end accounts and tax returns, they offer their clients comprehensive support, including joining client boards to help run their finance departments, providing family office services to wealthy families, and delivering trustee services to private clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will specialise in tax, trusts, and estates
- You will manage a portfolio of trust and tax compliance clients
- You will provide ad hoc planning and advisory support to the Directors
- You will be responsible for preparing trust accounts, trust self-assessment tax returns, R185s, IHT returns, estate tax returns, and personal tax returns
- You will be responsible for a portfolio of complex clients, engaging in both compliance and consulting work
- You will support , and assist others members of the team as and when needed.
Ideal Candidate:
- You hold a qualification such as CTA, ACA, or TEP.
- You may already be at a senior level seeking a pathway to a managerial role and beyond, or you could be a manager looking for your next career step.
- You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- You must be flexible and a team player
