Rowland Recruitment is working with a mid Kent based firm of accountants who are looking to appoint a Trainee Accountant, with a minimum of two years' experience, to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with experience in practice who is keen to develop their skills and progress their career within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide bookkeeping support for a portfolio of clients
- Prepare and file VAT returns accurately and on time
- Assist with management accounts, budgets, forecasts, statutory accounts, and tax computations
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
- Support the payroll team when required
- Handle Companies House compliance reporting
- Contribute to blogs and social media content periodically
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- Part qualified ACA/ACCA or AAT
- Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Confident communicator with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Hands-on approach and problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and data analysis
